the yellowish-y clear wax on this only looks absolutely stunning
Ghost Writings. My favorite songs of my favorite album of all time. This album makes yous ponder life. Glad Hecker released a reprint. Couldn't afford original.
Same comment than the others : Astonishing remaster merely this transition between A and B side is really painful.
Its difficult to extrapolate on exactly why this album winds up being my favorite from Tim's entire discography, and why this one escapes many likewise. I listened to this album back to back within 3 days. The first day was magical, the same magic I felt the first fourth dimension I understood it. The 2nd day, however, wasn't as such. I was sleep deprived, and I couldn't concord my attention very great. Listening to this largely in the groundwork wasn't very pleasing. It was similar listening to an intimate piano solo; it requires most of your attending to appreciate it and experience it, only if it'south in the groundwork it becomes obtrusive and annoying. The 3rd day was just equally magical equally the outset after having this revelation.
This album is like a piano tape. In order to understand it and appreciate information technology, love it? one has to listen intently, non passively. It is categorized equally Ambience, but information technology is FAR from being a groundwork anthology. I could get on and endeavor to describe the album to you, but I think that is up to yous to interpret. This is quite possibly my favorite album out of all the genres and albums I've listened to.
I kind of wish they had cleaned up the transitions between the sides in the remastering... Digitally this has patently never been an issue simply upon my beginning listen to the LP, the beginning 2 sec of The Work Of Fine art that exists at the very end of Arctic Lovers Rock (Pt.ii) come off incredibly disjointed. Though I will say I am still very happy to finally have the opportunity to purchase a copy for a reasonable cost.
